Indians face discrimination based on caste, race, religion, and gender almost everyday. Not just from other countries, but also from their own countrymen. This can cause sadness, lack of trust, anxiety, and a sense of being ostracized among a lot of individuals without people even realising the harm done by their words. Three parts of India were chosen for this project, which tend to be among the most discriminated against: North-East Indians [who tend to be compared to East Asians in a derogatory manner solely based on their looks], South Indians [who are all mashed into one group, not being recognised as different states with unique cultures, and likened to their staple food], and Central Indians i.e. people from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana [who seem to have a permanent reputation of being violent, uneducated, and unhygienic].
They are NOT equal to the insults thrown at them.
